I heard footsteps - Closing Reception

Celebrate the start of summer with a fun-filled, kid-themed Quit Your Day Job carnival and dance party at The Faight! 🎪

There will be carnival games, winning prizes, kids’ crafts, candy, flash tattoos... you name it. And, as always, Quit Your Day Job resident DJs and a full dance floor. Come boogie, win some prizes, experience the art, and be a kid again. 🤹🏻‍♀️

We’re celebrating the closing of I heard footsteps, a sculptural exhibit by local artist (and Quit Your Day Job curator) Marion Vail. The exhibit transforms The Faight’s gallery into a childhood bedroom, filled with furniture, bedding, fabric dolls, and stuffed animals. The art explores the dark parts of childhood, immersing viewers in the full experience of being a kid. 🎡

Clowns, magicians, circus performers all welcome here. Come join the carnival — a little spooky, a lot of fun. See you there! 🎠
